History behind shoes

History
The first high heeled shoe that was first dated back to 3500 BC and it was the Egyptians who first created and wore them. The Egyptians wore them for ceremonial reasons.
Next were the Greeks and Romans who wore platform sandals called Kothorni. Mainly female prostitutes would wear them which is how they could tell if they were prostitutes or not since sex trade was legal.
